Lots of hard work done on the railroad lay outs. Lots of awesome work by the people working on the lay outs as well.

Well, its almost the first anniversary of ground breaking on my HO layout and it has been slow progress. The benchwork is now in for the upper level, and the last of the mainline roadbed went in this past weekend. Track laying has begun and construction of the DCC friendly turnouts is well underway. I guess there were faster ways to build a layout, but I have slowed down with age myself, so slow and steady is good now-a-days! Any task that I can so at my workbench is getting to be my favorite task, these old knees of mine are becoming angrier with each passing year. I have not recorded the progress like I had planned, the construction was tedious and not really incorporating anything that has not been covered elsewhere.

Well, its almost the first anniversary of ground breaking on my HO layout and it has been slow progress. Progress report; instead of working on the track as I should have been, I've been modeling and uploading photo's in case things... well, you know. My layout helper has bailed out on me; so I am back to a one man band status for now. Since cooler days are here again, maybe working in the room off the garage won't be so bad. I intend to put air in there, but finances have been tight for a while; I am sure most of you know what I mean.
