Brand new tractor, and an Athearn 40' trailer I did around 30 years ago, with Herald King Decals; time has not been kind. I'm getting to a point where there will be more trucks than trains on the layout I'm building. I still have to add mirrors, mud flaps and other details to all of these models.

When CMW announced their new 1953 GMC pickup in a utility truck configuration, I was happy. When they said it would be available on a close version of SP orange, I ordered three of them. I used the side emblem from the MicroScale PMT 'N' Scale decal set for the trucks door emblems. I remember an old utility truck, not unlike this, from my first visit to Bakersfield back in the mid 70's.

Nice models.
If anyone wants to see an existant PFE trailer, there is one at the Port of Portland's Terminal 2, right alongside Front Avenue. If you go to Google Maps' streetview, put in the address 3044 NW Front Avenue, Portland, OR, and view to the N/NE.

That was really cool. I also checked out Portland Union Station and the Vancouver WA. Amtrak station.

John, The PMT trucks look great. Which Microscale sets did you use? I know you mentioned both HO an N scale decals were used.

Sorry Cyrus, I never saw your response until just now. Microscale makes, or did make a mini decal set for PMT trailers; MC-4027 in both HO and N scale gave me all the needed artwork seen here.
