Guys, sorry for any cross post, but more peoples involved more probability arise to have a start with an N scale kit.
I've no interest in this company, except ... I will love to have a new manufacturer for N scale quality kits.
Note that the question is "mainly" dedicated to SP related subjects.
Thanks for your time:

Guys,
I have talked to the owner of WrightTRAK and we are willing to do a N scale project, with some strings attached.
First off, we need to be assured that it is going to sell at least 150 cars....
We will do this on a reservation basis...If we dont have enough reservations the cars will not be done.
We have never done an N scale product before and we are not adverse to doing them. What we are is cautious. We have NO experience with how N scale stuff sells in the resin market and we are simply trying to cover our butts. I hope you guys understand this and can appreciate it as well.
So, let the discussion begin. What car do you want done in N scale? Spread the word to all the N scale modelers that you know. What level of details are you looking at? What price point are you interested in seeing this car come in at?
Are you willing to put your money where you mouth is?
If this works out there will be more N scale cars. If this does not work out this will be a one off attempt. Guys, don't let me down on this, please.

Here my list as I model the Coast line around 1948-49:
- 73-SC-1 whaleback tender that can fix Consolidation/Moguls
- a boiler/ tender kit to convert MP 2-6-0 to the SP 0-6-0 switchers
- A decent SP 1935-48 stock car like S-40-8 / 9
- pre-'48 SP hoppers ( both covered and open )
- pre-'48 SP gondolas
- early (ie 1947) vintage bay window caboose.
List is in order of importance, but not necessary in volume necessity.
Details level must be higher than RTR, brass etching parts, grab irons etc, and under body details. Some options to model different years are welcome too.
Appropriate trucks are welcome too.
Price: for a "premium" kit I can accept a "medium" price? Well, more than a RTR volume model and ... less than a Limo (a lot less!) .. well a bit less than an HO similar kit?
If any of N scaler here want add theyr own, I can provide to copy your message to Denis Blake.
cheers.... and run steam if possible!
