April 1970 as "torpedo boat" GP9's #3006 and #3007 leave San Jose with Train #98, the Coast Daylight.

Two SP shots---one an actual SP Daylight and the other an Amtrak Starlight but looking very much like an SP train. SP #3204 with #98 passing thru the cut behind Oak Hill in San Jose. The spot has been double tracked for JPB commute trains. SP 3209 with the Starlight at Alviso, running as train #12 at this point.
