;D Southern Pacific SD45 #8872 works eastbound down the Main through the Sullivan's Curve area while a westbound pulls through Canyon Siding in 1986.

Nice shot Herb. I don't recall seeing to many units with "Southern Pacific" in red lettering.

The first C50-4 Bay Window is shown here in Commerce, TEXAS in the Winter of '73. Espee Bay Window cars were very common through this Cotton Belt town. The Red SSW Extended Vision cars were used on the locals out of Commerce.

Nice shot Herb. I don't recall seeing to many units with "Southern Pacific" in red lettering. Thanks Gary! What you see is the vinyl backing film to which the reflective "glass" coating is applied. I'm quite certain the heat from the prime mover played havoc with the durability of the decals.
