I have boxes of recorded SP radio transmissions I made in 1996. I began recording these when I learned about the take over. I never recorded in the 80's, because I thought the SP would be around for ever. I do however have SP train audio from the 80's, all I gotta do is find them !! One I remember well is a recording of the loaded Oil Can at Ave. C grading crossing, with a helper around 1986!! Now use MediaMax for hosting.

Nice job Thom. Good clarity and overall quality.
I've got lots of analog train recordings primarily taken at Cajon and the Loop in the early 1980s. Another favorite of mine is recorded communications from/to the Coast Starlight I was riding on out of LA to Santa Barbara back in 1987. Detectors and all!
