Good morning all! I hope all of you are having a safe and fun Memorial Day weekend. I had a great 4th of July weekend. From my front yard my roommate and I were able to see eigth different fireworks shows. We were also able to see the 4th of July fireworks shows from Washington D.C., on our local public broadcasting station.

We had some very wild, yet dangerous weather in the Antelope Valley section of Los Angeles today. Thunder and lightning storms along with rain. There have been several people struck by lightning. What a crazy week this week has been in the Los Angeles area. Monday it was 113 degrees and today thunder, lightning and rain with everyting in between during the week.

It's been a very wet and rainy day here in Southern California. We'll probably have some rain showers in the morning, but should be clearing out by the afternoon. It has made for a good day to re-read a lot of the posts here. Dang I love this site!!

The weatherman is expecting more rain in the southern California area this week. He's thinking about a 10th of an inch tomorrow, We'll see about later on this week.
