Just saw this and forgot that I hadn't shown the LCRA photos.

On another board they've been talkin' about how a UP frieght had been in an accident in Spring, Texas. I don't know all the details, but if the people on the ground were at fault, this makes me angry. Maybe 1% of the time the engine crew is at fault. As any of us who've been around railroading long enough, we've seen these things happen in person; not fun nor pretty. As a former employee, I've been on the head end when this has happened.

It's hard to believe in a way, but here it is, the later part of March and it's 90 degrees F around my area.
I just wish that the people in the northern and eastern areas could be with out the cold weather.

I have a doctor appointment tomorrow (Friday) to see my doctor. IO'm worried about my foot. I hope I don't have to have it amputated. I had to have my left foot amputated in August, 2007. No fun at all.

Well I had my doctor appointment this morning. Fortunately I didn't have to be admitted, let alone have to think about having my right foot amutated today. What a relief. I do have referals to other medical departments for appointments coming up.

Hey buddy, that is a rough situation, my prayers are going to include a little something for you. Us ESPEE fans gotta stick together! Do you like sassafras root tea? It helps circulation in a natural way; and it works hot or over ice. I don't know what ails you, but it sounds like the big D.
Another decade or two, and the kids are going to think that SP diesels never had nose lights, let alone came in colors besides Scarlett and Gray.
I was at work the other day (actually I'm retired now, and this was a few years back), listening to some old tunes, and this youngster comes up and just sort of stands there. Pretty soon I can see he is really digging my music. I break the ice and we start to chat, and he wants to know about whom I'm playing. I tell him it's Hendrix, and he asks me if that is a new group. Later I put on Abbey Road....then he asks if that is Paul McCartney he is hearing. Good catch I say; then he asks if that is a new band he is playing with....

For any Dallas Cowboys fans out here; try going to bleeding silver and blue dot com to look around. In the cheerleader section I think Melissa Rycroft is very good lookin'.
