Hello All--I'm a new member here on this forum. I'm in Texas, and a fan of the SP here, especially the Sunset Route. I have an obscure question that will surely put the board to the test! --West of Uvalde, Texas, SP had a spur from Cline south to Blewett and some Asphalt mines. When looking at an old USGS map of the area, I also noticed that just west of Cline was another spur that went south a few miles. It was named the "NIRA" spur on the map. Does anyone have any info on this line, and how it got its name--could it even be the New Deal gov't program with those initials? Does anyone have an old track chart that might show this? Thanks, Chris
