Just watched this video: mlmp.tripod.com//web/franzsalepage.htmFirst off, I have nothing to do with this outfit, but feel the need to share my thoughts with any interested parties. Buy it. If you have any interest in So Cal railroading between 1969 and 1978, this DVD is a must have. The scenes shown are really great, and even more than a few freight cars sneak into the shots; me likey that! The DVD is dubbed, and a few times you might wonder about the sound choices, but not so much as to detract from the historic footage being presented. I can't recommend this one enough to those who either loved this era, or missed it and wish to see a nice sampling of what was up. Plenty of great Southern Pacific footage on this one; not a bad scene in the entire program. There is also ATSF and Uther Pacific footage, and all of it is great to see. I ordered the DVD on Sunday, and it was in my mailbox on Wednesday. That is what I call real prompt service; A #1. I noted that the cover artwork called this one Volume One, I really do hope that more of this is indeed coming soon.
