I worked on some Atlas N scale GP9s yesterday. They are much smoother and slower than these Life Like GP9s. Still, each has a place, depending on what you want. The Like Like engines are much less expensive than Atlas.

Sorry I have been absent for so long, I've had a bunch of things fall apart all at once; I even lost the link to this site for a while. I dropped by to take a peek and see what is up, and I spied this outstanding thread...then again, its hard to mess up a SP GP9 in my eyes, and these models are very nice indeed!
