In July of 1980, this passed me by and I grabbed a quick shot. I am guessing one of those is a SW1500 prime mover.

some...uh...MOW stuff...1984 © 2008 John Huey Ok, the big orange thing is front is a Plasser tamper, not sure which version but I know its the predecessor to the Plasser Roadmaster. The second machine, which almost blends into the first big thing in the photo is a Spud Liner, used for lining track. I don't believe this model tamper had lining capabilities itself which is why a Spud Liner was used. The third and last machine is a Kershaw Ballast Regulator.

GMC Brigadier with float How many or you noticed the Lucky Loader atop it's mother gondola seen above the hood of the Brigadier??? There's lots of good stuff in the backgrounds of these photos if you look for it.
