What are you saying Thom? Are you feeling poorly, or are you thinking about something of a prophetic nature maybe?

Thom, I think I now know what you meant now, the traffic here is so low its not worth it to keep it open, just to give you, scott, herb, gary, foamer, enzo and me someplace to hang out and wish SP was still around. I have been trying like heck to get the traffic up, but one person can only do so much, a few others add content, but even that has dropped off to nothing these days.
Its not just here, the SPH&TS list is even worse; all the traffic is on the yahoo list, but unless your stuff is perfect, you get hammered there too much and dare not voice opinions. I just model to be believable, my models need to look right, not perfect; for me, its all about the feel. I think we need some of the many lurkers all over the web to add to this discussion (and many others), before those of us who do participate, get any more discouraged.

Happy Birthday Thom.... It's too late? I was on the road during last week, so take my late wishes... to recycle next year! And... John, yes, you're right about traffic allover! For sure economic hard times contribute to think to more “basic” questions (I’ve lot of bad news from several friends in CA, somebody was filed just two years before retirement and after 20 years in the company, so I understand) At same time I think that the RTR philosophy have taken away lot of the past activity on the modelling word. Research on prototype to model something is sleeping as you will find anything ready on the shops! Well, friends, this is the time to regain some hand craft quality! Lot of poor raw materials are waiting us to make our past memories alive again. We can bake the cake. cheers Enzo
