The Portland & Western RR used a former SP crossbuck post for a speed restriction sign.
The problem is, they installed it on a former Oregon Electric route, at the south end of the Cornelius Pass tunnel on the United Railways District. But the post is in great condition. Virtually all of the SP crossbucks and posts have been removed in the last year or so due to new ODOT regulations. Same is true of old UP crossbucks.
Most of the BN crossbucks were relatively new and met current reflective requirements, and thus still survive.
