With the "sun setting" on my current N scale layout, I figured I'd start a thread to show a few photos before these scenes disappear. Here's one for today. The local crew has "gone to beans" at Oakridge prior to returning to Eugene. Intermountain F7 and cast resin C-40-3. Should have dusted them off first

I got the authority to build one in a spare bedroom But, I've got to dismantle this one first. Kinda bittersweet though. I started the current layout when I was 14. I cut it into four pieces and moved it 120 miles about five years ago. It got me through a lot of "hard times" in my teenage years. Kinda like loosing an old friend Here's a couple more.

Thanks! It's been too hot to do anything in the garage lately, plus I can't afford to start the new layout right now... Hopefully it'll cool off and I'll be able to take some more shots of what's left of the layout...
