This train order stand is directly across from the Albany, OR depot. In later days it's sole purpose was to relay last-minute switching instructions for the Toledo Hauler. This photo was taken on 06.26.88 and was in use until the Espee leased some of it's branchlines to the Willamette & Pacific in March of 1993. I have heard the stand has historical value, so it still stands today, minus the "hoops." John
