36 years ago today this rebuilt geep was working as the yard switcher in Commerce, TEXAS. Take a look at Cotton Belt spots to see what else was in town that day.

Espee 3678 had the honor 36 years ago of leading the this day's Sulphur Springs Switcher back to Commerce Yard. The unit is shown near Knights Crossing at Milepost 536, the depot is another mile from this location. Another photo of this unit and train at Cotton Belt Spots. The Sulphur Springs Switcher ran from Commerce to Sulphur Springs, switched around at that location and then returned to Commerce.

I really enjoy looking at these kodachrome units. Just something about the red and yellow paint scheme!

In August of 1978, two rebuilt EMD's have run around their train and are going to pick up their crummy; then tie up.
