Our friend Jerry DeBene, will be having back surgery on Monday February 25th. Lets keep him in our thoughts and prayers during his surgery and recovery. Make sure you take a bunch of model railroad/railroad magazines with you Jerry!

Thanks Thom! Thats a great idea about the magazines. Kimberly can keep fresh stock coming if my stay gets extended too.

Hello Thom and SP Forum members, I am home slowly recovering. The surgery went very good, but it was a large, (6 1/2 inches), incision with 31 staples. It needed to be that large as my L5 disk was completely blown out and it took awhile to get it all cleaned out. I may be out of it for awhile as I have been given some great pain killers. Thank you for all the thoughts and prayers! Jerry

Jerry.......Like Thom said; it's good to have you back out here. I've had a lot of medical problems lately and one of the hard parts is taking things slow to allow yourself to heal. Take things slow and listen to your medical team; they'll give you the best advice they can. Hang in there.
