First of 8 work train photos. Baldwin built MK-5 power. This shovel was working near Sierra Blanca, Texas late 40's - early 50's. My father was hoghead and photos were made with a low tech camera of the era. More to come.

The last one is an overall shot agian. This crew was cleaning out the cut and taking the sand to the "fill" ares and dumping. The next section of the work train was a jordan spreader with an F-1 2-10-2 in charge. I will post those pics later.

Excellent stuff! Thanks for posting your fathers photo's. Its great that we have ex employees, and relatives, to share SP stories and photo's with the forum. Its very valuable.
