The California State Railroad Museum is a great place to visit.
Just outside of the museum, the coast mainline is there.
Inside the museum is a lot of excellent equipment that looks good, IMO. I would recomend a visit there if you're in the Sacramento, California area. I think it's well worth the visit.

The Niles Canyon Railway now has the SP9010 (former camera car) and it's being restored to is original appearance. Here's a link to their website about it... lots of information about the second generation K-Ms and some on the first ones: sp9010.ncry.org/On the topic of hydraulics, the CSRM also has a truck and one transmission from one of the Alco DH643 locomotives.
