Cotton Belt Long Caboose #2305 is in Old Saybrook, Connecticut. The carbody is loaded on one trailer and the trucks are on another. The cupola has yet to be removed from the carbody and that should be done today. The road clearance and routing are being worked out, and Gary expects movement very soon. The destination is ASTA in TEXAS.

The long caboose body is loaded up on some moving dollys and awaiting proper routing clearance south. The trucks and cupola are on another low boy. If anyone is interested in seeing this along the way this week send me a private message. This photo is from last summer. Ed in Kentucky

The 2305 arrived at the Austin Steam Train Association facility at Cedar Park, Texas yesterday at 9:15 am local time. It was offloaded onto cribbing while it waits to be retrucked and have its cupola reinstalled.
