Late post (very late one ...  ). Very nice Images! BTW HuskerHerb, I noticed you are from Orange County. Are you familiar with SP's Santa Ana & Stanton Branches, along with the Anaheim Yard? (more like, what used to be the Anaheim Yard... but that's another story/post) My Avatar Image was taken from a Bay Window Caboose at North Anaheim (on South Side of Interstate 5). Notice the SW1500 behind the Caboose? It "died" out on the Westminster Branch, and was being towed dead-in-train back to Anaheim, by this Local Switcher. -- Scott |
