It's really nice that we can remember the importance that crummies had with the railroad. My hats off to the fact that they are display at the Vincent Hill Sttion Restaurant.

Before the signature baywindow caboose appeared on the SP, there were cupola cars all over the system. I collect HO cabooses for SP, SSW and T&NO, and try to have one variant for all the periods that I operate in. After many years of adding cars and swapping models, I now have more cupola cars than baywindows.
The painting and lettering variations over the life of these cars was quite a lot more complicated than I would have ever guessed.
