Terry Kirkland saw one Cotton Belt train 35 years ago today. Plano is where the Cotton Belt's trackage rights started over the Southern Pacific to run down to Miller Yard in South Dallas. Terry's mother lived over in Grapevine, Texas and Plano would have been a place Terry visited often while growing up in the area.

Terry Kirkland saw seven Cotton Belt trains 35 years ago today. What is really different about this day are the extras. Something must have happened to cause these trains to be run.
