Try as I might, I never seem to pick the right photo for these contests. This time I will pick one I would not normally pick, and see how that works out.
I took this somewhere in Northern CA about the time the CA State RR Museum opened. I just can't remember where this was, but I wanted the depot in the picture at the time.
Hope you like it...they were really letting her fly; I'd guess at least 70 mph.Taken sometime in May of 1981, I think. It ain't easy getting older!

Well, since model photos are OK.... Photo taken on the GEHAMS N scale layout here in Bakersfield. InterMountain Railway F7 with a number of mods.
